Welcome to 2nd Street Beads located in the Historic Frenchtowne area of St. Charles, MO, in a 100 year old house at 815 North 2nd Street. We offer a full service beading experience plus lots of fun. You will find wall-to-wall beads and friendly people to answer questions and hands on help with beading projects. Check out our weekly beading classes to learn something new or just brush up techniques you already know.
We are open 10:00 to 5:00 Monday through Saturday, closed Sunday.

Sat.June 27th: "Peyote Bezeled Cab on Stiff Stuff"
Stiff Stuff is stiff backing material that is glued to the back of your stone so you can sew beads to the backing to bezel around the stone. Fun way learn to make a pendant or brooch.
All Sat. classes start at 1:30pm. Cost is $18.00 plus the cost of materials.

Sat. July 4th: “4th of July Holiday”
Please have a safe and happy celebration.
Sat. July 11th: "Crystal and SS Links Bracelet"
We use a cross-weave tech. and chain links to build a base, then cross-weave crystals onto the top to form flowers. Dainty and beautiful.
Sat. July 18th: "St Petersburg Chain"
Worked as single or doubled chain,St. Petersburg chain is gaining popularity around the world.
Sat. July 25th: "Bezeled Rivoli"
Open-Back Bezeling; This method works best for stones wirh pointed backs or any irreguler type stones. Bezel is worked in Peyote stitch.

May 2009 Classes
Sat. May 2nd: "Mother's Bracelet" Beginner
Basic class for beginners with lots of pizazz.
Sat. May 9th: "Beaded Bead Bracelet" Advanced to Beginner
Sew the beaded beads first then string them into a bracelet.
Sat. May 16th: "Star of India Bracelet" Advanced to Beginner
Crystal bicones and seed beads are sewn together to form beautiful rosette shapes, then linked to form a bracelet.
