Welcome to 2nd Street Beads, located in the historic Frenchtowne neighborhood of St Charles, MO. Our shop is in a 100 year old brick house at 815 N 2nd Street.

We offer a full service bead shop with hands on help to answer you beading questions. Basic jewerly classes and advanced beading classes are offered by appointment. You may also check the website for a listing of upcoming classes and classes we have offered in the past year.

We offer a large selection of Czech Firepolish beads, gemstones, freshwater pearl, and Swarovski crystal. If you need metal findings, we have the area's largest selection of silver plate and gold plate. We also carry pewter, copper and sterling silver beads and findings.

Check out our seedbead section. Over 300 Delica colors, plus sizes 6/0, 8/0, 10/0, and 15/0 seedbeads.

We also have stringing materials, Fireline, nylon threads, beading wires, tools,and books, and all the things you need to get started beading.

We are open 10:00 to 5:00 Monday through Saturday, closed Sunday.

Everything in the store is on sale up to 50%. Take advantage of this sale to stock up on the things you use all year. Czech glass, findings, crystal and much more. Sale starts Nov. 23rd and goes through Dec. 22nd,2012.

Look for the "Red Dot" on labels to find 50% Off the label price. We will be marking "Red Dots" all during the month of Dec. 2012.

We still have sale items on the "Table Sale". Pearls and coral, wrapping wires in lots of gauges and colors, spools of chain and 5 ft lenghts of chain, and the 'bead puddle has lots of finished jewerly for quick gifts.

Wed. July 27th 6:30pm "Criss Cross Bracelet"
This is a two needle project. It works up fast and is very pretty.

Cute little bracelet using seed beads and square seed beads.

Wed. Aug 24th 6:30pm "Ring"
Classic looking ring for parties or just because.

Wed. Sept 28th 6:30pm "Bezeled Rivoli Bracelet "
This will be a two-part class. First we learn how to bezel the Rivoli and how to link the finished bezels. Then we will finish the links and sew a peyote bar and ring closure.
